This view feels like it changes 20 times a day. The rock on the point is always big and imposing. The stairs and the dock always seem so insignificant, and the cabins along Redrooff’s feel like dots on the sand between the ocean and the forest. What makes it feel so different is the light. These two paintings try to capture some those differences.
