This is a sculpture of my 6-year-old son playing baseball. It could be any boy playing baseball at that age. They love the idea of the game but they don’t really know how to play yet. I wanted to capture the thrill of having the mitt on but the reality that the ball isn’t going to find its way into it at this stage.
